After 10 years as a computer programmer, I’ve decided to retire and spend my days exploring what the world has to offer. I’ll document what I find here.

I’ve had an idea that I would be changing the direction of this blog for a long time now. However, I’ve been uncomfortable with the thought of dropping my technological roots for another topic.
I’m still unsure as to where it will go…who knows?

I’m not exactly sure how I stumbled upon your Cerkit.com blog, but the first entry I read involved an Atlanta anchorwoman singing for a United Way fundraiser held in the banquet room of a company I once worked for…anywayz…I know you don’t know me from Adam’s house cat, but I have over 15 yrs. IT experience and have just begun toying with Ubuntu myself. I am extremely impressed with THIS GNU experience, especially after tinkering with Red Hat some several years past. Having recently learned that Atlanta will be hosting a Linux fest on Sept. 20, 2008, I thought I’d share the web link with you…

that was a fun day
Ubuntu is going well, so far. I hope your luck is as good as mine. I live about 5 hours away from Atlanta now, but it might be worth going to the festival. Thanks for the link.
